  • RenaultSport: Twingo or Clio...?

    Oct 04, 2008 11:50 PM

hi. looking for advice/thoughts. getting a new company car. i can go for either the twingo cup 133 or clio cup 197, both about the same price for some reason. but i really cant choose!! think the twingo is better suited to the kind of driving i usually do but im looking to start getting into trackdays for which the clio is probably better. any strong opinions? ta.

    Go for the 197.

It will probably be the better every day driver and when you get it on track then you will be thankful for the extra power.

The Twingo is undoubtedly a great car, but it is a better road burner than track burner.

The Twingo sounds like a great little car - but unless you've only got a Twingo-sized parking space, it's too close in price to the Clio Cup. I've driven a non-cup Clio 197 and it's a storming car - if the Cup's better then you'll love it...
