Autocar - First for car news and reviews

 Is the Mercedes R class the ugliest car on the road today.And am I right in thinking theyve stopped selling it in this country? Yes I know the Ssangyong Rodius is eyeball challenging but its from a company that doesnt pretend to be stylish and premium.My point is is the R class the ugliest car from a major manufacturer? They always seem to be driven by small women aswell or is that just an illusion because of the cars size?

The original Subaru B9 Tribeca. Hideous! Thank goodness they sorted things out with the facelift!

I hate to say it but I actually don't mind the way the R-Class and the X6 look.

I agreel, along with the B class and the new GL class.

 Sorry but I like the R class? Did you see the silver one that was the Doctor's car at the Singapore GP (scambled when Piquet crashed) - looked cool to me.

 Guess we all have different tastes in cars - thank god heh, otherwise we'd all be driving identical Mondeos?!

Certainly not the ugliest, but certainly not the best looking.

My wife's boss has got one and having driven one, I fail to see the point.  Not that spacious, poor quality interior and needless four wheel drive system.

There are better vehicles in this class for less money, but as always for some people a car is not a car without a three pointed star!
