I am a keen sausage consumer but would never consider purchasing an X6 if I had the money... So therefore BMW might think there would be more point if the X6 was a sausage, because if it was they might stand a better chance of selling me one. However, that said, I wouldn't ever consider buying a sausage made by BMW, so maybe less after all...

This has me wondering. If car makers were to branch out into sausage production, whose sausage would be most likely to end up on my plate. Ford used to make good bangers, but have gone all gourmet recently.

I think a nice old fashioned Morgan Butchers Choice would suit me.

I'd never eat a Volvo, far to heavy and liable to cause indigestion.

There has been much comment about the 'purpose' of the X6.

I'm not a 4X4 fan and would never buy an X6, but its 'purpose' is to make shed-loads of profit for BMW and this it is doing in spades. Production is fully sold well into 2009!

Not my type of car either, but it fulfills its purpose.

I think more of a large pork pie, but moulded to look like a scotch egg.

Its is totally illogical to compare a sausage with the BMW X6.

You cant get in a sausage ,drive a sausage, look smug in a sausage, wear a baseball cap in a sausage, have an orange ladyfriend sitting next to you in a sausage,or go over 100mph in a 30 zone in a sausage.

I say more point.  If BMW produced an X6 sized sausage then Sir Bob Geldof could buy it and solve third world starvation, although finding a suitable sized barbeque could prove tricky.  I must admit I haven't fully thought this through yet....
