    Speed cameras in the sky!

    Aug 28, 2008 11:00 AM

Well, I read on another motoring web site that Essex Police (oh great my local constabulary) have decided to arm a helicoper with speed gunning and number plate recognition equipment!

At £1000 an hour they are going to have to catch a lot of people to justify the costs.  Again, this is all supposed to be in aid of reducing the number of deaths, especially motor cyclists but I am not so sure.

It would appear that Big Brother isn't just on the television!

I hope it's more accurate in it's readings than a hand held laser gun!!! what chance of getting an accurate reading from one strapped to the underside of a swaying chopper?

Surprised this has not been done in Wales first.

Caeser ruled with an iron hand, then with a wooden foot and finally with a piece of string.
