  • Skoda doubles line-up for 2011

    May 14, 2008 1:24 PM

The first new model out of the traps will be the Skoda Yeti SUV, which will make its public debut at the London motor show in July. Company insiders say that its looks will stick closely to the concept car and it will be built on a platform closely related to the Volkswagen Tiguan. It will also use many of the Tiguan's engine options and its four-wheel-drive technology.
High-level Skoda sources have also revealed to Autocar that a new small saloon is in the pipeline and due to be launched nex...Read the full article

Nice funky modern design. The Skoda Yeti looks like a re-do of the Renault-Alpine 'Rancho' of 25 years ago which also looked great but didn't sell too well. Not sure who this is aimed at! Maybe the Fiat Panda sector who have a horse!

It looks like a country bumpkin that really wants to be in the city as an urban runabout. That's pretty confused. Nissan Quashqi hit the nail on the head. The Yeti slipped the target!

The Yeti look good and a lot better than the current Fabia. We'll be sticking with our old-shape Fabia for the foreseeable,

In this world gone mad, we won't spank the monkey, the monkey will spank us!

I've read the road test on the new Superb as i have one of the current ones for work. I have to say if i'm still doing the same thing in a couple of years i will have a new Superb. An old friend who currently has an A6 company car has decided to wait and get a top line Superb rather than a basement A6. If it has more space than mine it must be fecking huge. nothing has more rear legroom.

Never let a fact get in the way of an opinion!

So the roomster will be redesigned, because it's unusual look (i.e. ugliness) is limiting sales. So why do the renderings of the Yeti show a similarly 'unusual' look? Strange logic Skoda.

So you think that the Roomsters look is limiting sales..........funny as it is the best selling mpv in Europe

I have had a Roomster for a year now, if English drivers got behind the wheel they might have a shock......its really good to drive, and does what it says on the back.....ROOM..STER
