I've got an '06 E46 M3 Convertible and want to get more out of it. I've heard DMS are good and thought I would get them to chip it. Is this a good idea or is there something better?

I don't think you'll see much of a difference. Chipping turbocharged engines is effective because so much can be done with playing with boost and fuelling. Isn't your M3 fast enough? If not, buy a faster car.
